Developed in secrecy by a handpicked team of engineers, the second-generation Ford GT took shape deep within the Ford Product Development Center. Built around an advanced carbon fiber monocoque chassis with cutting-edge aerodynamics, it was first designed for racing before being adapted into a road car—continuing the legacy of the legendary GT40. The GT's competitive debut at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans resulted in a historic double-podium finish, exactly 50 years after the original GT40's iconic victory. This success reignited Ford's presence in endurance racing, generating overwhelming demand for the production model. With thousands of applications received, only 1,350 lucky buyers were selected for the initial production run through Ford's exclusive Concierge Service.
Boasting a meticulously engineered aerodynamic design, the Ford GT seamlessly blends function with striking aesthetics. Initially launched with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 647 horsepower, the GT saw improvements for the 2020 model year, increasing output to 660 horsepower. Enhancements included a broader torque band, refined engine calibration, and key mechanical upgrades such as gallery-cooled pistons and high-energy ignition coils.
This Ford GT was ordered new through Ford Italia in Heritage Blue, an exterior color that harkens back to those iconic Gulf-liveried Ford GT40s raced in the latter half of the 1960s. The exterior is complemented by optional Dual Frozen White “Over the Top” stripes, exterior trim painted Shadow Black, and forged aluminum wheels finished in Gloss Black retained by optional Titanium lug nuts. Brembo brake calipers (six-piston front and four-piston rear) with carbon ceramic discs provide excellent stopping power. The GT's Ford Italia invoice records the interior features the optional Dark Energy Interior Package with black Alcantara on the fixed Sparco seats with manually reclining carbon fiber shells as well as an order date of 4 November 2022.
This rare Italian-market second-generation Ford GT is offered from its original owner with a mere 53 kilometers at the time of cataloging. The majority of this restricted use is surely the result of testing by Ford and Multimatic as well as distance accumulated during delivery. As a result, this example is offered in near-new condition with many of the GT-specific delivery items furnished in the sale including its Extended Exterior Color spray out in Heritage Blue, carbon fiber Design Spec box, and battery charger.

Grazie a un design aerodinamico meticolosamente studiato, la Ford GT unisce perfettamente funzionalità ed estetica. Inizialmente proposta con un motore V6 EcoBoost biturbo da 3,5 litri e 647 CV, la GT ha ricevuto aggiornamenti a partire dal model year 2020, aumentando la potenza a 660 CV. Questa Ford GT del 2022 è stata ordinata nuova tramite Ford Italia nella tonalità Heritage Blue, un colore che richiama le iconiche Ford GT40 che con livrea Gulf gareggiarono nella seconda metà degli anni '60. L'esterno è completato da doppie strisce in Frozen White su tutta la vettura, finiture esterne in Shadow Black e cerchi in alluminio forgiato Gloss Black con dadi in titanio. I freni Brembo neri, con pinze a sei pistoncini all'anteriore e quattro al posteriore, e i dischi carboceramici garantiscono una frenata eccezionale. La fattura Ford Italia registra che l’abitacolo è rifinito con il Dark Energy Interior Package, con sedili fissi Sparco in Alcantara nera dalla struttura in fibra di carbonio, regolabili manualmente, oltre a riportare la data dell’ordine del 4 novembre 2022.
Questa rara Ford GT di seconda generazione, destinata al mercato italiano, è offerta dal suo primo proprietario con soli 53 km al momento dell’inserimento a catalogo. La maggior parte di questo chilometraggio deriva probabilmente dai test effettuati da Ford e Multimatic, oltre alla distanza percorsa durante la consegna.
