The 1934 Packard Twelve, particularly the rare Dual-Windshield Phaeton (body type 731), is a pinnacle of Packard's design and engineering. Delivered on 19 July 1934, to Stamford, Connecticut, this Packard spent its first 64 years in New England. Acquired by Leon Ogilvie of Wilton, Maine, in the 1950s, the car was purchased by noted collector Bob Bahre, who commissioned a complete restoration by Melvin Culver of Customs by Beaver, completed in 1980. The Packard won multiple awards following its restoration, including a First Place Junior Award at the 1980 AACA Hershey meet and the Joseph Parkin Award for best Packard at the 1981 AACA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia.

The car was part of Bahre's collection for 20 years before being sold to David Anderson in 1998. It changed hands again in 2007 when the current owner commissioned Chris Charlton of Classic Car Services to prepare it for the show circuit, including the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The car has earned multiple accolades, including Best of Show honors at the 2007 Niello Concours d'Elegance and the People's Choice award. It was also shown at the 2007 Ironstone Concours d'Elegance, earning a Best in Class award. The following year, the car was shown at the 2008 Niello Concours d'Elegance, where it earned another Best in Show. It has also participated in six Pebble Beach Motoring Classics from 2009 through 2015 and two Classic Car Club of America CARavans.

Under the meticulous care of Martin Hveem Automobile Restorations, this car found its way into The Academy of Art University Collection in 2016. Today, the 1934 Packard Twelve 1107 Dual-Windshield Phaeton continues to captivate with its resplendent black lacquer finish and red leather upholstery. According to The Magnificent Packard Twelve of Nineteen Thirty Four, of the ten examples produced that year, this car has the added distinction of a known history, and according to previous research, is believed to retain its original configuration with matching engine, chassis, and body.
