Unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Salon in 1985, ten years after the introduction of the 308, the 328 debuted an elegantly updated version of the Pininfarina wedge design worn by its predecessor. With its improved cabin ergonomics and more powerful 3.2-liter V8, the 328 was stunningly beautiful, well balanced, and relatively easy to maintain, and it remains so today.

This U.S.-market 328 GTS hails from the final year of production, and as a result, benefits from technical improvements implemented in late 1988 for 1989 model-year 328s. These include the addition of anti-lock brakes identified by its convex 16-inch wheels, as well as an altered suspension geometry to provide anti-dive and zero offset. Completed in July 1989, chassis number 82724 was finished in a classic Rosso Corsa exterior over Beige Connolly leather upholstery.

Its clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report opens in 1993, placing the car in New York where it has remained since, documenting a very gradual accumulation of mileage across regular emissions inspections. Since 2014, the report also notes repeated service visits to Ferrari Long of Island, most recently returning to the dealer in September 2025 for a service in the amount of $3,460.09, including an oil and filter change, replacement of the pollen and air filters and wiper blades, and exchange of the brake, power steering, and coolant fluids.

Desirable in its own right as a final-model-year, ABS-equipped example of the ultimate 308/328 evolution, this well-preserved 328 GTS, showing fewer than 12,000 original miles at the time of cataloging, is fully deserving of a place in any collection of low-mileage sports cars.
