Widely regarded as the most complete expression of Porsche's Turbo lineage, the 993-generation 911 Turbo combined classic air-cooled character with thoroughly modern performance. Drawing directly from the technology of the groundbreaking 959, it was the first 911 Turbo to feature all-wheel drive and, most importantly, the last powered by an air-cooled engine. The Turbo's 3.6-liter M64/60 flat-six utilized twin K16 turbochargers, full-width intercoolers, and an 8.0:1 compression ratio to produce 408 PS, delivered through a six-speed manual transmission to all four wheels. With widened rear arches, a sculpted rear wing housing the intercoolers, and a purposeful stance, the 911 Turbo made no attempt to disguise its intent. Benefiting from multi-link rear suspension and a claimed zero-to-60 mph time of approximately 4.4 seconds, it remains one of the most accomplished and collectible 911 variants ever produced.
