When BMW introduced the M5 CS in 2021, it produced the fastest and most powerful car the company had ever put into series production. The CS designation—short for Competition Sport—marked BMW M's most focused interpretation of a given model. For the vaunted F90-generation M5, that meant a distillation sharpened through carbon fiber body panels, a carbon fiber roof, a lightened cabin, and dedicated chassis tuning developed specifically for the model. Built for a single model year with a specification beyond even the M5 Competition, the CS debuted as the ultimate expression of this generation of super sedan.

This M5 Competition Sport was completed at BMW's Dingolfing plant on 5 October 2021 finished rare and desirable BMW Individual Frozen Deep Green Metallic with Gold Bronze wheels and Black leather interior. Well specified, options included Competition Package, M Driver's Package, M Carbon bucket seats, M Sport exhaust with a full accounting of the specification available online. Delivered new through BMW Pautric in Kortrijk, Belgium, the car was imported to Switzerland in 2026. With only two owners from new, it has since been maintained on a documented service schedule, most recently receiving a brake fluid service on 21 August 2026 at 22,211 km. At cataloging the car is offered with scant few kilometers covered since the service, now show just under 23,000.

Produced in strictly limited numbers worldwide, the M5 CS combined its 635 PS twin-turbo V8 with extensive weight savings and the most focused specification ever offered on a road-going M5. Fast, rare, and comprehensively equipped, it remains among the most compelling expressions of BMW M's engineering ambition.
