“The Lincoln Continental Executive Limousine is the ultimate contemporary expression of the limousine. It is as close to the ultimate in motoring as an automobile can be.” With that brochure promise, Lincoln-Mercury turned to Chicago coachbuilders Lehmann-Peterson to transform the already distinguished Continental sedan into a chauffeured flagship for captains of industry, visiting dignitaries, and heads of state. Built by inserting a new center section between the doors and finishing it to factory standards, the Executive Limousine rode on a vast 160-inch wheelbase and 255-inch overall length, yet retained signature Continental refinement.

Opening the rear suicide doors reveals a wide, unhindered entry for easy ingress and egress into a spacious and luxurious cabin. Inside, companion seats face rearward and can be folded up to free additional floor space as needed, while an optional chauffeur divider window creates complete privacy in the rear. Lincoln's promise that “quality is reflected everywhere” is supported by thick mouton carpeting and upholstery in fine gray wool broadcloth. Rear appointments include an oil-rubbed walnut cabinet, factory air conditioning, rear-door courtesy lights, lighted armrest storage compartments, and an AM/FM radio. The cabinet in this example is topped by an optional beverage service tray—complete with an ice bucket and drinkware by The Sheffield Silver Company. Up front, the chauffeur enjoys a power-adjustable vinyl bench, optional Temperature Control factory air conditioning, AM/FM radio, and the distinctive 1967-only “flower-pot” steering wheel. With Lincoln's 462-cu-in V8 mated to a Select-Shift Turbo-Drive transmission, the refined powertrain provides hushed, effortless thrust for up to eight total passengers.

Completed on 8 September 1967, chassis number 806000 was originally finished in Huntington Gray and now wears a classic black exterior with a thickly padded vinyl-covered roof. The Executive Limousine remained under the long-term custodianship of John and Isabell Fischer in Essex, Maryland, from 2000 through 2025, among their stable of classic Lincolns. Before joining the consignor earlier this year, it was reportedly serviced by Purmotive of Cockeysville in June 2025 and now shows 37,121 miles at the time of cataloging. Handsomely presented, this dignified, coachbuilt Lincoln would be ideally suited to Lincoln & Continental Owners Club gatherings, VIP and ceremonial chauffeured duties, or any number of other special-occasion appearances.
