Jonathan Middag joins Broad Arrow as a Car Specialist, based in The Netherlands. Since a very young age, he has been fascinated by cars and this led to a career dominated by everything with wheels. He started as a junior editor for several magazines, writing about cars and, his favourite task, testing them. Not only on the open road, but on the racetrack as well. This led to a role as a sponsorship manager for a racing team that raced in the Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As his passion for road cars dominated, he started working for a well-known Ferrari dealership in the role of Marketing Manager, with responsibility for all events, marketing and client relationships.

In his twenties, he made his first steps in the auction world as an intern at the car department of Christie’s. The auction world had always attracted his attention, and after 12 years at the Ferrari dealership, he chose to continue his career there. After working for several years at Bonhams, Jonathan has now joined Broad Arrow. His expertise includes Ferraris from the 1950s up to the 2000s, but he also has deep knowledge of other Italian and British cars. He is based in The Netherlands and speaks Dutch, English, German and has working knowledge of French. He frequently travels to meet clients and inspect cars and collections. In his spare free time he loves to drive his own cars or to work in his garden, which is another big passion.
