Founded in 1970 by Swiss engineer Peter Sauber, Sauber quickly became a respected and popular Formula One team, renowned for technical innovation, reliability, and talent development. After decades of successful competition and partnerships with Mercedes, Ferrari, and BMW, Sauber begins its transformation into a factory-backed works team under Audi. A minority stake was acquired in 2023, followed by full ownership by 2025. From the 2026 season onward, Sauber will compete as the Audi F1 Team, featuring Audi power units and branding, marking the next chapter in the team's rich motorsport history.

This engine cover is from the 2011 season and comes with a certificate from F1Authentics. In 2011, Sauber competed that season with the Sauber C30, powered by Ferrari engines with Petronas sponsorship. Driven by Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Pérez, the C30 was praised for its strong aerodynamics, reliability, and competitive performance in the mid-field. The car delivered multiple points finishes, highlighted by Pérez's fourth-place finish at the Canadian Grand Prix and Kobayashi's impressive podium in Monaco, marking one of Sauber's most successful seasons in recent years. Its blend of innovative design, driver skill, and consistency reinforced Sauber's reputation as a capable and technically proficient F1 team.
